GASTRONOMY
Cantabria stands out for the great quality of its local products: from his cheeses to the best selection of meats and canned food, up to coming to well know fish and sea food from the Cantabrican Sea. As well as the cheeses, especially the so-called Picón Bejes-Tresviso and the Quesucos de Liébana cheeses.
The shellfish is the maximum protagonist of the regional table. In the surrounding area, we have fabulous fishing ports to taste fresh fish and seafood specialities from fishing villages such us Laredo, Castro Urdiales and Santoña, where the best anchovies from the North Coast are elaborated.
